What a great trip. We had a ball and then some. Being with family and seeing all the sites was so much fun. Then we would all split up, go our separate ways see what we wanted to see and meet back together again for dinner. It just worked. And what a wonderful and delicious dinner we would have. Wow ! I'm still remembering moments and can close my eyes and see different sites I experienced. Let me tell you if you think Disneyland is just for kids, you are so wrong. I can't think of a better place for a Senior Citizen. We were even in our own carts and were treated just like everybody else, it was wonderful. I would have to say that is the only place I have never been treated different. I was treated just like everyone else (normal). We were able to ride all the rides and no one frowned or set us aside we were able to park our carts and ride what ever ride we wanted. The days we were there 3 of the 5 it rained. I should say light rain and not all the time so really that was wonderful as it wasn't too hot and we weren't looking for the shade all the time. It was pleasant and the temperature was just right. We couldn't have planned it any better.
We drove down as our Son rented a 15 passenger van and off we went. There were 10 of us in all and what a bunch we were. All ages, Senior Citizens, College age, High School and Our Son and his wife. Funny uh ? No one under 15. And you thought Disneyland was for kids. Tootles
Happenings from daily living in the country. What we do, what we see. Sometimes interesting, sometimes funny and sometimes sad but join me and I will share.
