Saving my Flowers

I  love the jar.  Another thrift store buy.  When I picked it up didn't really know what I was going to do with it but My Jim is always bringing me flowers from the yard. I started dropping them in the jar.  I just can't toss them  in the garbage or yard and I love dried flowers so now I will have a whole jar of them.  And I love the smell of dried flowers.  Now I get to enjoy the flowers when they are freshly cut and hang on to them when they are drying.  Best of both worlds.

Looking forward to Thrift Store shopping later today.  I would like to find more books.  Not that I don't have enough  now (who ever has enough books) but I have discovered some new writers to me and hope I can find some.  Maybe I will find that something special.  You know the unique find that you didn't know you really wanted or needed.  Hey I have before so will take my time and look around.  Wish me luck.
