Spring and Summer ? Here !

I have some pictures to upload on this site but for some reason they are not loading.  I swear there is so much I do not know work about all this so when it doesn't work smoothly I'm lost.

We are enjoying this lovely weather.  We better before it gets really hot.  After having such a mild winter I think we are all a little afraid of the summer coming.  Never fear we will soldier on and run in the house to our air conditioning.

I have been fixing up my screened in porch and the area of the porch that is not screened in.  All of it is in  white.  I have picked up a lot of white sheer curtains at the thrift store and even picked up some at Ikea.  No kidding.  They have very long and I do mean long white sheers for only 3.99.  You get two panels for that.  I got some for my bedroom and love them.  Hey, at that price I can put them outside.  It's just so much fun fixing it all up.  I even painted this little dresser that my daughter gave me.  I just love it but the drawer was warped and so hard to open and close so Jim removed it made the front of the drawer a drop down and we used it for our DVD player and DTV component .  It worked great with our TV on the top but as you know I change things around a lot  besides being we got a new bigger TV and love, love, love it.  I feel like I'm in a movie theater !  Ha

Hey, it worked this time.  This is one side of the porch.  Both chairs are from thrift stores still in good shape really but I want the white look so here come the white sheets.  The two baskets up behind the chairs is where our cats sleep.  They love it.  That's a fire place between the chairs.  Yes, I got at a thrift store several years ago.  When I bought it, it had a heater in it used it for a while but it was so old got a little worried about so removed the heater and left the fake looking wood.  It lights up but like I said it's pretty old so just use it like this.  The sign hanging above it something I wood burned it's a French sign, I love it and of course the chandelier is all made from  shells.  It's really beautiful.
Now I will try and up load the other side.  Wish me luck.





Okay, I am still waiting for the picture to upload but it's been about 20 minutes.  Finally was able to get back to post so I will check back in a few and hope I can get it on.
We use this area in the morning when we have our coffee in the morning.  It's still cool enough that the paper wasp are not out.  It's cool and the day is just beginning.  Now we will try and come out just before the sun comes up, it is so beautiful then.

Well it doesn't look like the picture is going to load so I might just end this tonight and come back in the morning.  One more try !

Just a quick note.....  Tomorrow my Jim and I are going to start the   Flat Belly Diet !  We need to do     something and it seems to be all the food we both like so we are willing to give it a try.  We go to the gym 3 times a week.  Monday, Wednesday and Friday !  We might even start going  more we will see so   between that and the flat belly diet we should be able to see some results.  I will be posting right here and let you know.   Tootles
