Happy New Year ! Just watched the Rose Parade. Wow, a lot of work went into each and every one of the floats, they were beautiful. Enjoyed it very much. It reminded me of my Dad. He always took a cup of coffee in the living room and was excited about watching the parade. He made it fun to watch. The aroma from the kitchen where Mom was making another Holiday dinner was so intoxicating your taste buds were having a party just thinking about it.
The new year is before us and the promise of new beginnings. I'm all for that as I'm sure everyone is. Here's to Health Care and the promise off jobs, jobs, jobs.
Just downloaded more books for my kindle. How fantastic is the Kindle. I swear, it's the greatest invention since sliced bread. It's like your birthday everyday. It's so exciting to hit that one click button and have it instantly in our hands. I love my kindle so much and am so glad I took the step to buy it. I have never regretted it for a second even though I was among the customers who paid 359.00, I will not complain. The amount of books I have received for free makes up for that.
