The happiest place on earth !  We had a wonderful time between the few rides we went on to the outstanding dinners, browsing Main Street, taking coffee breakes, our time was well spent. It was a vacation in Heaven. Tootles

Thrift Store find. Can you believe My Jim found this. I was browsing and around the corner came My Jim with the Fairey in his hand. Of course I loved it. I do need to fix the wings but I love it. It just brings a smile to your face.  Tootles

If you’re ever in YC and hungry this is the place to go. I have shopped there since the early 90’s. There cafe has healthy dishes on the menu and the grocery side has the hard to find items. Go, try it. Just being in that atmosphere and sampling there menu will change your life.   Tootles

Spring

This was taken a few years ago so a lot has changed, especially the trees in the background.
It has been awhile since I have worked in the yard.  Believe me you can tell.  I would usually be out there cleaning, raking and arranging things around.  I do plan on doing that sometime this spring.

Good news !  According to the weather report we are suppose to be getting warm spring temperatures.  I'm all for that.  Last night it was very cold.  Thank you God, we are coming into Spring and not into winter.  

I think I hear Barnes and Noble in Chico calling me !  Listen.......I'm sure of it.  Tootles

Is Spring really going to be Here !

This is what we bought a couple years ago.  I used my burner to burn them in the wood planks.  I didn't want to forget  what we had picked out.  You know how it is,  you plant it and just plain forget what it is.  I can say the apple trees are still here. Really most everything is still here except Avocado
trees.  Sadly, they have all died.  I don't know if we over watered, under watered, bad soil or what.  Which makes it hard to try again.  I can't tell you how many avocado trees we have bought only for them to die.  I feel terrible to buy a plant only to bring it home to die.

Today is Friday, March 23, 2018.  The weather report says starting Monday it will be 66' and by Wednesday and Thursday 78'. Now that is more like it.  I can live with that and want to.

We are all so tired of rain,  I do feel for the East Coast people.  I would not live there.  California, that is Northern part, where I live does have a winter but no snow.  To be honest I would prefer Southern CA. but we can't always have what we want.   WHY NOT ?

Flowers ! Is Something Growing ?

Trying to get this right.  Beautiful flower, I do love roses especially the older plants as they have the strongest fragrance.

Here is to many blooms for our Spring  Season and the sweetness of the smells.

Our Future

I'm using a  new Theme, as you can see.  I have attempted to add pictures but unfortunately they had family members in them.  I just don't feel comfortable about doing that so, until I do,  I won't.

This is a follow up of our evening.  We had such a good time.  Good Food, Good Times, Good Company.  Love being with my family.

The name of my home,  "ArcanusPortusAveo"  What does it mean ?  A Secret or Hidden Home of Happines and Good Health.
